Using Your DMP to Send Targeted Notifications: Integrating Your DMP
One-size-fits-all, spray-and-pray ads never outperform messages that are tailored for a particular target population. Although everyone is aware of that, not everyone takes the time to set it up. The segmenting of users procedure appears difficult. Not at all. You may use Mok.one to build unique campaigns by integrating it with your current data management platform (DMP). This is how…
Link Mok.one to your DMP.
You need to assign each user a distinctive identity, which is an ID number generated at random, before you can start delivering them tailored communications. There are two methods to accomplish this: either you save Mok.one user record within your DMP or you link your internal user record with Mok.one system.
Our event handlers inform us if/when a user subscribes to alerts after each user has a distinct identity. This is important because you should only send push notifications to users who have chosen to receive them; otherwise, you run the danger of losing the ability to send any push notifications at all.
To link your DMP, review the documentation.
Establish segments
To define segments, use the Mok.one REST API. When combined with the Tags in your DMP, Mok.one data and filters are a potent approach to target consumers. In order to create sophisticated, extremely specific user targeting, filters can be combined.
Customers of Mok.one use a variety of filters, including ones based on location, interests, sex, and/or past behaviour. For instance, Evino targets clients depending on their location, the amount they regularly spend, and the type of wine they’ve previously bought. I enjoy that Evino doesn’t alert me to local deals outside of my city or notifications on Cristal Champagne because I like pinot noirs and I’m frugal. They at least send push alerts once every day, but they are always quite pertinent. They are able to drive 7,200+ orders through push notifications thanks to this.
A track record
You should monitor response once you’ve sent a message. To examine real-time view delivery and click through rates, Mok.one offers a dashboard with delivery statistics. If your website is powered by WordPress, you can use our own WP plugin to track conversions.
For in-depth examination, export your notification data. You can view information such as the message’s delivery efficiency, its content, its segments, and more. Mok.one subscription plans provide a tonne of features, including this one.
Many third-party tools are supported by Mok.one as well. The analytics platforms we interact with are listed here along with instructions on how to set them up. Since we work with Zapier to connect with 1400+ platforms and apps, chances are good that we will integrate with any analytics software you already use.
